Our Mission

GraftonHub exists to make local information easier to find and easier to trust. The goal is not to be everything. The goal is to help people get to the practical answer faster.

Whether you're a longtime resident, a new neighbor, or just trying to figure something out quickly, the site is meant to help with things like:

  • How to register your child for youth sports
  • Where to set up utilities when you move
  • What's happening in the community this week
  • When the next school board meeting is
  • How to contact local government offices

No ads. No tracking. No subscription fees. Just a local utility site built to be useful.

How It Works

GraftonHub pulls together public information from official sources and clearly attributable community sources.

  • Weather: National Weather Service (official government data)
  • Schools: Midview, Oberlin, and Keystone district websites
  • Government: Village, township, and city official websites
  • Events: Public calendars, organizer pages, verified community listings, and the GraftonHub calendar workflow. Coverage is intentionally selective — meant to surface useful local happenings, not replicate every Facebook event or every organizer calendar.
  • Practical local pages: Utility providers, emergency information, family resources, parks, government, schools, and other recurring local reference points

The site is updated regularly as information changes. In addition, it goes through recurring review passes that re-check major site areas like schools, local government, pharmacies, and other core reference pages.

🔒 Your Privacy

We don't track you. GraftonHub doesn't use cookies, analytics, or any tracking technology. We don't collect your personal information. We don't know who visits the site, and we don't want to.

This is a community service, not a data-mining operation.

⚠️ Important Disclaimer

GraftonHub aggregates information from multiple public sources. While we work hard to keep everything accurate and up-to-date, information can change.

Always verify critical information (registration deadlines, meeting times, contact numbers) with the official source before making decisions.

We're not affiliated with any government entity, school district, or organization mentioned on this site. GraftonHub is an independent public guide.

Please include specific details when reporting errors (what's wrong, where you found it, what it should say). Screenshots help!

🤝 Community Involvement

We're open to suggestions! If you represent a local organization and want to make sure your information is included, reach out. If you have ideas for making this more useful, tell us.

This site exists to serve the community. Corrections, event tips, source links, and practical suggestions all help make it better.

💡 Why We Built This

Local information is scattered across dozens of websites, Facebook groups, and physical bulletin boards. Finding what you need often requires knowing where to look.

GraftonHub was built to create one place where people can find common local answers without hunting through five different sites, old posts, and broken pages. It is not trying to be a full local-news operation or a universal business directory.

Think of it as a digital public guide: local, practical, and meant to reduce friction.
